Data collection disclaimer - in summary
Dear user,
This is just to let you know that the CRAMSURG team collects data concerning the way you and everyone else use this website and linked resources. Don't worry we don't know who you are! It would not be possible for us to know anyway :-) The data we collect relates to:
- The pages visited
- What is used to access our website - laptop, mobile phone, etc...
- How often a linked video or a linked audio file is accessed, on the website or on related distribution channels (youtube, spotify etc...) - again we don't know who you are, only that someone has watched it/listened to it
To do this we use google analytics - find out more here . This data may be used to produce scientific work in the future. Again we don't know who you are and what you are doing, we can only see collated data concerning how our users use our website and related resources. By using our website we assume that you have read and understood our privacy policy - see below. If you join our mailing list or create an account on our e-learning platform the below policy applies as well.
We do also collect data from feedback forms that are filled in after our live sessions! The data we collect via such forms can be used for the production of scientific work as well. By filling the form and submitting it you accept that your data will be authomatically collected and potentially used for scientific work.

We use Your Personal data to provide and improve the Service. By using the Service, You agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Responsibilities for Data Control and Processing are delegated to Giordano Perin, secretary of the CRAMsurg Charity.

Summary of changes as compared to previous version of this policy
Given the recent Austrian DPA ruling concerning the use of Google Analytics (see here for more details) we have discontinued the use of google analytics. The Google Analytics tag has been removed from our homepage and all users data is now handled using Matomo (installed on our shared host server directly). The paragraph concerning Google Analytics cookies has therefore been removed as not applicable anymore.
