Abstract submission and prizes information

As you can see from our programme, we accept two types of abstracts:

  • Project proposals: abstracts for projects that have been designed but have not started yet, they will be selected for presentation based on the quality of the planned methodology for the project. As part of the discussion, we will aim to provide some helpful insight on how to improve the methodology of the project itself as well as tips on how to run it. It is a great opportunity to get an external review of your project methodology in a stress free and friendly environment!
  • Completed projects: abstract for projects that have been compleated and have already results to talk about. If your abstract is selected for presentation we will give you an 8 minutes time slot to talk about your project. A brief discussion and questions will follow. It is a great opportunity to present your project at a national conference!
A limited number of abstracts will be selected for presentation. All abstract presentations will be 8 minutes long followed by discussion. The top scoring abstract in each category will be awarded a £100 prize! Abstracts will be considered only from medical students that have already subscribed for the conference. An additional £20 fee will be required to present the abstract (you will be contacted upon acceptance of your abstract). Failure to subscribe to the conference or to pay for the presenter fee will result in the abstract being withdrawn from the conference. By submitting an abstract you agree with our privacy policy.

See below for submission forms, good luck! Deadline for submission is 21st September 2024 (any abstracts submitted after midnight will not be considered) Problem with the form? Contact our websmaster!
